I took a walk to the marina the day after Sandy hit. Considering how bad some towns not far from me were hit, we did ok. Lots of trees down, five feet of water at the corner by my house (I'm on a hill, thankfully, so no flooding for me), and no power for a week. So many lost their homes, cars, personal property - its so sad. But we're Jersey strong - we'll get past this
